Whitemarsh Workplace Fight Leads to Citations, Police Say
The incident occurred at Wally's Glass Service on Spring Mill Avenue.

Norristown and Conshohocken men were cited after an alleged argument on Spring Mill Avenue at Wally’s Glass Service on March 15, during which a man claimed that his employer struck him in the head with a bat, according to the Whitemarsh Township Police Department.
Corey James Mellon, 19, of Haws Avenue in Norristown and Edward John Petka, 42, of Spring Mill Avenue in Conshohocken, were both cited after an argument over money, a report states. According to police, the two have varying accounts of what occurred.

Mellon said that he had an agreement with Petka to pick up cash that was owed to him, police said. According to Mellon, Petka struck him on the right side of his face with a bat, knocking him into a cart, police said.
According to Petka, Mellon drove the vehicle into the garage, striking the rear end of a customer’s car, and then kicked over a cart and argued about money owed, police said. According to a report, Petka punched Mellon in the face after Melon tried to grab and punch him.

Both men were charged with disorderly conduct – engaging in fighting.
