Family Services to Host Free Virtual Parenting Group in August
Parenting group is open to all Montgomery County parents/caregivers of children ages 0-18. Space is limited. Registration required.
The COVID-19 pandemic has raised new parenting challenges for everyone. Children and teenagers have experienced disruptions to their daily lives and increased worries about their safety and that of their family and friends. Children can react in unexpected ways because they cannot express how they are feeling.
The Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) shares simple, practical, and proven-effective strategies that help parents raise confident children, set family routines and rules that everyone can follow, and balance work and family life with less stress.
Family Services' Triple P program is offering a free virtual parenting group every Tuesday in August, from Noon–1 p.m. This group is open to all Montgomery County parents/caregivers of children ages 0-18.
