PCCC Show Nearly A Sellout

Saturday's event also featured Capt. Buy Local and his sidekick Small Biz.

 

The first Pottstown Classics Nostalgia Nights Car Show of the year on Saturday was nearly packed to capacity, said Gary Pace, public relations specialist for , which hosts the monthly event. 

"The show was almost a sellout ... minus 30 cars," Pace said via email.

The annual car show series -- held May through September -- draws thousands of cars and people to downtown Pottstown. 

In addition to the classic, muscle, antique and custom rides, Saturday's event featured Capt. Buy Local and his sidekick Small Biz. The downtown duo were on hand to promote local businesses.

The will be held at 5 p.m. June 2 at .

"This town has always been a good place for cruising," and added the shows bring in about 3,000 to 5,000 people. "(They're) good for our businesses ... and the whole community comes together."
