POTTSTOWN, PA — Pottstown High School football players showed up this weekend to bolster a community event, lending muscle to the distributing of goods and services.

The Pottstown NAACP hosted a voter registration and resource day at Smith Plaza and student athletes were led by Pottstown Trojans head football coach Jeff Delaney. The students helped set up the event area.

In addition to distributing over 8,000 pounds of food, the event included voter registration, free legal aid, housing information, flu shots, census reporting, mental health support and entertainment.
