Pottstown Walmart Reports Two Thefts This Month, Police Say
Borough police reported to Walmart twice in March for retail theft calls.

One allegedly stole video games and movies, while another, cops say, walked out with a television.
According to police reports from the Pottstown Borough Police Department, Heather Bartha, 28, of Pottstown, was seen by another shopper exiting the Walmart on Shoemaker Road, causing the alarms to sound.
Police say they stopped the woman pointed out by a witness, who had on her a blue bag and plastic Walmart bag. She identified herself as Heather Force, police said, but later was identified as Bartha.

Bartha gave police permission, according to the report, to search her bags. Police found multiple video games and dvds, all of which were unopened, along with a video game controller. In total, the goods were valued at $275.52, according to the report.
After questioning, Bartha gave a three-page typed admission, stating she did in fact steal the items from Walmart. Police cited Bartha with theft, a retail theft over $200 on March 2.

Later in the month, police returned to the store to speak with a Loss Prevention Officer (LPO) who alleged Alysa Nadine Lightcap, 19, of Pottstown, had taken a 46-inch television from Walmart on March 10. After the television went missing, the LPO reviewed tapes to find Lightcap pushing a cart with the missing tv out the front door, according to the police report.
The LPO told police the identity of Lightcap, as she had previously been accused of stealing from the same Walmart, as well as other stores in the area, but had failed to appear for a hearing, said the report.
Lightcap has a warrant out for her arrest, according to the report. She is wanted for retail theft and receiving stolen property, said police.
