Second Double Homicide Suspect In Montco Turns Himself In: DA
Deonte Kelly, 23, of Philadelphia, was wanted in connection with the killings of two Montgomery County teenagers this month.

POTTSTOWN, PA — The second individual who was being sought in connection with a double homicide that took place this month in this western Montgomery County town has turned himself in to authorities to face charges in the case.
Deonte Kelly, 23, of Philadelphia, surrendered on Tuesday evening to the Montgomery County Detective Bureau and Pottstown Police, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
Kelly is facing two counts of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, third-degree murder and robbery in connection with the deaths of 17-year-old Skyler Fox and 18-year-old Brandon Bacote-Byer, who were found dead from gunshot wounds on Oct. 17 just after 11:30 p.m. in the area of Fourth and Johnson Streets in Pottstown.

Another man, 17-year-old Dominic Carboni of Schwenksville, Montgomery County, was previously arrested and charged in connection with the killings, which authorities have described as a possibly drug deal gone bad.

As of the time of publication of this story, Kelly was in the process of being arraigned and will be sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility since bail is not afforded to first-degree murder defendants in Pennsylvania.
