Teen Charged In Pottstown Slaying; Second Teen Sought
Pottstown police are searching for 17-year-old Jahme Barnes in the Aug. 28 gunshot slaying of one man and wounding of another.

POTTSTOWN, PA — Federal marshals arrested 18-year-old Kahseem Williams of Philadelphia Thursday in the Aug. 28 slaying of a 25-year-old and wounding of a 17-year-old in Pottstown.
Williams was apprehended Thursday inside a residence in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele's office.
Williams was later arraigned before Pottstown District Judge Edward C. Kropp Sr, on third-degree, murder attempted murder and related charges.

He is accused of the gunshot slaying of Dakari Rome and the shooting of a 17-year-old male, both of Pottstown.
Williams is in Montgomery County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing.

An arrest warrant has also been issued for co-defendant Jahme Barnes, 17, of Philadelphia on third-degree murder and related charges.
Barnes is described as Black female, with black hair, 4-foot, 7-inches tall and weighing 115 pounds.
The investigation disclosed the victims and the suspects were playing the “Orbeez Challenge,” a TikTok challenge involving shooting water beads from an airsoft gun Sundaynight in the 600 block of Grant Street.
Police said they were dispatched at 10 p.m. for a call of shots fired in the area of Grant and Union streets, where they found blood stains and several fired cartridge casings.
Rome died Sunday night in Pottstown Hospital as a result of a gunshot wound to the chest, officials said. The 17-year-old was treated for a gunshot wound to his hand.
