Walk-In Vaccine Clinic In Pottstown Will Give 1,000 Shots Sunday
The Ricketts Community Center in Pottstown is the place to go for a Pfizer vaccine first dose on April 25 and no appointment is needed.
POTTSTOWN, PA — The Ricketts Community Center in Pottstown will become a walk-in vaccine clinic on April 25, and no appointment is needed to get a first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 shot.
The center at 658 Beech St. in Pottstown will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 25 and anyone 16 or older is eligible for a vaccine. There is no cost for a vaccination.
Nick Chigurupati of Pottstown Pharmacy said he expects 1,000 vaccinations will be given on Sunday at the walk-in clinic. The event is sponsored by Pottstown Pharmacy and NAACP Pottstown, with the help of Pennsylvania State Rep. Joe Ciresi (D-146th), said Chigurupati.
