• Pottsgrove Manor on Aug. 21 will host an enjoy 18th century living event. Costumed interpreters will live life the colonial way with activities including butter churning, needlework, gunsmithing, tape weaving, and more. Tours of the museum’s current exhibit, “Spirituous Liquors and Healthful Distillations: Alcohol in Colonial America” will also be available. Pottsgrove Manor, home of John Potts, colonial ironmaster and founder of Pottstown, is located at 100 West King Street near the intersection of King Street and Route 100, just off Route 422, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
