• Frackville Woman Charged After Alleged DUI, Police Pursuit Through Pottsville (skooknews.com) — Police say an early-morning high-speed pursuit wound through several Pottsville streets on December 2 before ending at 5th and Market, where officers arrested a Frackville woman on DUI and related charges. According to Pottsville Police, the driver allegedly sped through stop signs, crossed into oncoming lanes, and forced another vehicle onto the shoulder before stopping voluntarily.
   

• Two Pottsville Men Charged After Multi-Store Retail Theft at Fairlane Village Mall (skooknews.com) — Two Pottsville men have been charged in connection with a multi-store retail theft at Fairlane Village Mall earlier this month, according to state police. Troopers say merchandise ranging from cologne and Bluetooth speakers to toys and clothing was taken, and the suspects were detained near the mall before being processed and released as the investigation continues.
