RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Resident in Radnor Township who are looking to add some more greenery to their properties have two options to do so.
The township is teaming up with PECO to provide residents with trees that ideally will have a positive impact on their energy usage and environmental footprint. And, Radnor is offering free street tree planting to residents.

Trees must be picked up from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 26 at Warren Filipone Park, 400 S. Devon Ave. in Wayne.
According to the township, this year marks PECO’s 12th anniversary as an Energy-Saving Trees partner. PECO’s program has provided more than 10,000 free trees to customers.

The township's street tree planting program is open now and is first come, first served.
Residents who register will get a free, fully installed 1.5 inch caliper street tree that's 8 to 10 feet high.
Shade tree species include medium (30 to 50 inches) and large (50 t0 70 inches) shade trees: American Linden, Ginkgo, Hackberry, Yellowwood, and more.
These trees will be professionally planted, staked, and mulched at residents homes in the township between April 17 and April 27.
Trees must be planted near the street of your home.
