After String of Thefts From Cars, Radnor Police Urge Caution
Radnor Police advise all motorists not to leave valuables in their cars.

After a recent string of thefts from cars in the Wayne and Strafford business districts, Radnor Township Police are urging motorists not to leave valuables in their cars.
According to police:
- Around noon on Dec. 26, a vehicle parked in the Strafford Shopping Center in the 300 block of W. Lancaster Avenue had the window smashed out. A purse, located on the front seat of the vehicle, was taken
- On Jan. 6, a vehicle parked in the Bertucci’s parking lot, 523 W. Lancaster Ave., had the passenger’s side front window smashed out. A large bag, containing a purse and electronics, was taken. The theft was reported to police at 7:50 p.m.
- Sometime between 3:30 and 10:30 p.m. Jan. 6, a vehicle parked in the rear of the 100 block of N. Wayne Avenue had the driver’s side rear window smashed out and a bag containing electronics and clothing was taken.
“Radnor Police advise all motorists and vehicle owners not to leave valuables in a motor vehicle,” police said. “If items must remain in a vehicle they should be stored in the trunk, placed in the cargo area, or stored under the seat out of plain view.”
