Dogs In Parks To Be Discussed Thursday In Radnor
The Radnor Township Parks and Recreation Board Thursday will discuss dogs in township parks. The public is invited to attend the meeting.
RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — The Radnor Township Parks and Recreation Board this week will discuss dogs in township parks.
The board is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Radnorshire Room of the Radnor Township Administration Building.
At Thursday's meeting, the board will evaluate and potentially recommend the Board of Commissioners change the status of Dittmar Park to permit dogs on the walking path.

Additionally, they will review all township parks with regard to dog permissions and leash requirements.
The draft resolution also includes potential changes to the leash requirements for dogs in township parks.

The above items do not include the Willows and Skunk Hollow parks and trails.
And in March 2025, the ordinance regulating dog leashing from noon to dusk on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays in Skunk Hollow Park will be reviewed.
Officials remind residents that dogs are not permitted at the Willows Park.
Dogs must be on a leash in the Willows Park parking lot before entering the Skunk Hollow Park and the trails.
Residents are welcome to attend all upcoming Parks & Recreation Department Meeting to discuss dogs throughout all the Township parks.
