Fearless Restaurants Hosting Wayne Art Center Plein Air Artists
Dining with the Artists! Join Plein Air Artists As They Create Art On-Site At Fearless Restaurants

Fearless Restaurants is thrilled to partner with the Wayne Art Center for the return of its annual Plein Air Festival, one of the longest-running and most popular outdoor painting events in the country. The event features 32 painters who compete for over $25,000 in cash prizes, which will be awarded at the Collectors’ Preview & Sale on Saturday, May 10. The Wayne Art Center Plein Air Festival Exhibition will be on display from May 11 through June 21, 2025.
While the dishes at Fearless Restaurants are always a work of art, guests can see some of the 32 juried nationally recognized and emerging artists who come to the region, in action as they create works of art depicting the sights and scenes that make the area unique. This year, these scenes include White Dog Cafe locations in Wayne and Chester Springs and Rosalie in Wayne.
White Dog Cafe Wayne, 200 W Lancaster Ave, Wayne, will feature artist Lon Brauer on Tuesday, May 6, at 4 pm. Roselie Wayne, 139 Lancaster Ave, Wayne, will feature artist Fred Jackson on Wednesday, May 7th, at 7 pm. Artist Mick McAndrews will be onsite at White Dog Cafe Chester Springs, 181 Gordon Dr, Exton, on Wednesday, May 7th, from 6-8 pm.

The multi-day competition begins on Sunday, May 4. Over the next six days, traveling to numerous locations within 30 miles of Wayne, the artists will create approximately 300 original works, drawing inspiration from the nearby historical architecture and lush landscapes found throughout our region. All paintings will be completed on-site and from direct observation, which is what it means to paint “en plein air.”
