Five Democrats Elected To Serve On Radnor School Board

The school board members will serve four-year terms, beginning in January.

RADNOR, PA —Five candidates were elected Tuesday in the 2023 General Election to serve on the Radnor School District school board.

School board members are elected for four-year terms. They are responsible for adopting policies, approving an annual budget, setting a tax rate, and employing a superintendent.

Incumbent Liz Duffy, a Democrat, was re-elected to a four-year term. She began her first year on the school board in 2019 and is active in the school.

The Radnor school board meeting is on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the township building, 301 Iven Ave.

In May, the school board voted to proceed with the design of a new Ithan Elementary School on the same site as the existing school. The estimated cost of the building is $64 million.

Breslin Architects, headquartered in Allentown, will proceed with a schematic design for the new Ithan Elementary School. The target date to open is the fall of 2027-28 school year.
