Inaugural Light Up Wayne Hanukkah Festival Now Being Held Saturday
Winter weather over the weekend forced organizers to reschedule the first-ever Light Up Wayne Hanukkah Festival.
WAYNE, PA — The weekend's winter storm forced organizers of the first-ever Light Up Wayne Hanukkah Festival to push the event back.
The event was scheduled to take place Sunday, the first day of the eight-night festival of lights.
However, several inches of snow blanketed the region, disrupting the weekend plans.

Now, the event is being held from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at North Wayne Avenue and Station Road at the Wayne Train Station.
Activities include live music from Temple Brith Achim’s Senior Clergy Cantor Coyot & Hanukkah stories, children's activities, a Hanukkah-themed photo booth by Rak-Dan Entertainment, delicious foods by the Kibitz Room King of Prussia, Hot Chocolate and Coffee from Mad Anthony Wayne Cafe, and a Pop-Up Hanukkah Shop featuring local businesses and organizations.

And, the event will feature a menorah lighting.
This event is presented by the Radnor Township Parks & Recreation Department, Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, and Temple Brith Achim.
