Investigation Ongoing Of Election Night Threat At Radnor High: Police

RADNOR, PA —Radnor Police and the FBI continue to investigate reports of a bomb threat on Election Night at the Radnor Senior High School that resulted in relocating polling stations.

Superintendent Christopher B. Flanagan said the police visited all public and private schools to provide extra police presence on Wednesday.

“I am pleased to announce that today was a safe and normal school day in Radnor,” Flanagan said.

He said the residents had contacted the police enquiring about the initial call at 6 p.m. Tuesday, which resulted in the evacuation of the high school on King of Prussia Road.

The superintendent said that within two and half hours the building was determined safe.

“Radnor police are aware that events like this can cause undue stress to the community, parents, and especially to our young people,” the superintendent said. “The mission of the Radnor Township police department is to always keep our community safe, and we understand the impact last evening’s emergency evacuation may have caused.”
