Managed by a Radnor-based studio, Lower Merion Township's public-access television station set to begin broadcasting next month.

With Lower Merion Township’s public-access television station set to begin broadcasting next month, the operation is now seeking residents interested in becoming producers, camera operators and on-air talent, according to Philly.com.
The station – Channel 99 on Comcast and Channel 34 on Verizon – will be managed by Radnor Studio 21, which runs the public access station in Radnor Township. The station operates out of Wayne, with additional studio space in Ludington Library in Bryn Mawr.
Residents interested in joining the public access station can contact Radnor Studio manager George Strimel at 610-687-5189. All levels of talent are welcome, the report said.

In an agreement with Radnor Studio 21 approved by the Lower Merion commissioners last week, the local public access channels will return after nearly 11 months in the dark. The two channels had reportedly ended their eight-year run due to running out of funds.
The new agreement is for a six-month trial basis. During that period, at least 25 percent of the studio’s original programming will be contractually obligated to be directed toward matters related to Lower Merion and Narberth.
