Seltzer will appear opposite Preston and guest star comedian David Cross, who was an inspiration for Seltzer to get into comedy.

His character plays a central role in the episode’s storyline, described as one of the season’s most dramatic cases.

"David Cross is as funny and kind as you would expect him to be," Seltzer told Patch. "It was just me and him shooting late into the night for like five hours, chatting in between takes.

Seltzer said Cross's shows "Mr. Show" and "Arrested Development" were among the reasons he got into the industry.

"The fanboy in me had to do a lot of work curtailing my excitement," he said. "I wish I had a camera on my shoulder, as I would have made a heck of an interview for a podcast or YouTube as he talked about everything under the sun. "

Seltzer, a Media native who attended the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, first discovered his love for acting at Hedgerow Theatre in Rose Valley, the country’s oldest repertory theater, where he appeared in numerous Main Stage productions before continuing his training at Rutgers University and The Globe Theatre in London.

He is best known for his recurring role in Netflix’s "Mindhunter," directed and produced by David Fincher, and recently appeared in AMC’s "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live."

Additional credits include Prime Video’s "Cross" and numerous New York stage productions. About Drew Seltzer
