The big sellers on Friday afternoon were anything Phillies: including T-shirts, framed photos, jerseys, and decals with the names of current stars, Bryce Harper, first baseman and 2021 MVP, and Kyle Schwarber, left fielder and designated hitter.

“Anything with Bryce Harper or Kyle Schwarber is selling,” Brian Michael, Shibe CEO, said. “We’ve been busy all day with the Phillies.”

The store has a full Bryce Harper collection, including a print of Harper with handwritten stats of every game in 2021, tie-dyed shirts, headbands, chains and more.

Michael also noted that parents have been shopping for gear for their children, saying a hoodie sweatshirt is a popular purchase.

Phillies history

If you want to go back in time, the store has a collection of artwork and posters of the 700 level at Veterans Stadium, Shibe Park-Connie Mack Stadium, and Phillies T-shirts celebrating the 1980 championship team with Mike Schmidt and Steve Carlton.

There are photographs of the Phillies' 50th-anniversary team, Ty Cobb, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx and Babe Ruth.

There is also a banner with the Phillies logos, dating back to 1915. More information is available here.
