Philly Man Arrested On Drug Charges After Vehicle Chase: Radnor Police

Radnor police said Lechan Meyer fled from police during a vehicle stop before crashing in Haverford Township.

RADNOR, PA —A 35-year-old Philadelphia man who fled from Radnor police to Interstate 476 during an Oct. 20 traffic stop in the 600 block of West Lancaster Ave. was later charged with drug offenses.

Police said Lechan Meyer was later stopped by Haverford Township police who searched his vehicle and found a large bag of suspected methamphetamine, 28 individually wrapped bags of suspected crack cocaine, 44 pills of ecstasy, as well as Xanax, and $4,000.

Meyer was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital for medical treatment and later released to Radnor police.

He is in Delaware County Prison on charges of possessing with intent to deliver illegal drugs, fleeing police, drunken driving, and related charges.
