Popular Main Line Restaurant Closing After 15 Years

Azie on Main will close next month as the property's landlord makes plans for offices in the restaurant space.

VILLANOVA, PA — A popular restaurant on the Main Line will be closing next month, according to its owners.

Azie on Main in Villanova will close its doors after 15 years of service on Sunday, Sept. 22, Win Hospitality said recently.

"Unfortunately, the landlord has chosen to convert the Azie on Main space into offices, leaving us without an option to continue our operations at the Villanova Center," the group said.

"We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated team members and patrons who have made this journey so special," the announcement reads. "The memories we've created, the meals we've shared, and the lasting friendships we've made mean everything to our team. We are proud of what we’ve built, and we thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives."

Win Hospitality also operated Azie in Media, Teikoku Restaurant, The Blue Elephant, The Blue Elephant Wayne, and Mikado Thai Pepper

The group is planning to open Maison Lotus in Wayne soon.

Azie on Main is located at 789 E. Lancaster Ave. in Villanova.
