George Broseman, a lawyer representing the applicant, asked for the continuance due to scheduling issues.

Following the scheduling discussion, resident Gregory Hess questioned if sidewalks are including included in the application, expressing concern about safety issues due to the busy traffic at Old Eagle School Road and Strafford Avenue.

Moira Mulroney, board president, said she reviewed the plans, and the safety issue is addressed, noting the plans are available in the township office for review.

Mulroney said she is grateful that so many residents showed up for the hearing.

Dorrance Hill Hamilton is an heiress of Campbell Soup and a philanthropist. She has homes in Wayne, Boca Grand, Fla., Surry, Vir., and Newport Rhode Island.

The Board will consider testimony and evidence from the applicant in support of the application at the hearing, which has not yet been rescheduled.

Copies of the conditional use application and proposed plans are available to be viewed and /or copied at the township municipal office, 301 Iven Ave, Wayne.
