Radnor Citizen’s Police Academy Returns

Applications are being accepted from all township residents, businesses owners and employees.

RADNOR, PA—The Radnor Township Police Separtment is accepting applications for the 2023 Citizen’s Police Academy which is scheduled to begin Feb. 2.

Classes are held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (possible extended hours for field exercises) at the Radnor Township Municipal Building, 301 Aven Ave., Wayne, PA 19087

The academy is open to all township residents and business owners and employees.

The eight-week program includes an overview of the police departmebt criminal law, crime scene investigations (practical exercises), emergency vehicle operation and policing practices, keynote speakers including area judges and the district attorney of Delaware County.

The goal of the academy is to provide the residents of Radnor Township with a higher level of knowledge and insight into the working of the police and learn about issues that affect law enforcement.
