Radnor Man Charged in Distributing Child Pornography
A security officer for Philadelphia University had more than 500 images on his computer, according to investigators.

An investigation that began in December 2013 has resulted in more than 70 criminal charges for a Radnor man accused of possessing and disseminating child pornography, according to Philly.com.
John William Hesed Forbes, 27, of North Aberdeen Avenue in the Wayne section of Radnor, was charged with multiple felony counts of possession of child pornography and related crimes. He has been confined to Delaware County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $75,000 bail.
According to the Delaware County Daily Times, detectives from Radnor and the Delaware County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began investigating Forbes in December 2013 when his IP address popped up on a peer-to-peer file sharing network monitored by the police.

A search warrant was issued for Forbes’ home in January 2014, where police took into custody Forbes’ laptop that allegedly held 50 images of children engage din sexual activity.
Forbes’s preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for May 7 at 9 a.m. before Judge Leon Hunter.
