Radnor Police Log: Thefts A Catalytic Converter
Police are investing reports of thefts including a retail store, a car and a residence.
RADNOR, PA – Police are investigating reports of thefts from vehicles, a retail establishment and a resident from Jan. 14 to 22.
Crimes:
- Missing package: A resident in the 100 block of Bloomingdale Avenue reported on Wednesday, Jan. 25, that a package that was expected to be delivered on Jan. 14 did not arrive.
- Theft from vehicle: A victim reported on Monday, Jan. 23 that a car window was smashed and personal items were stolen from the vehicle in the 700 block of East Lancaster Avenue.
- Catalytic converter theft: A victim reported on Sunday, Jan. 22 that a catalytic converter was stolen during the last two weeks from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Conestoga Road. Catalytic converters are made from precious metals such as platinum, palladium and rhodium.
- Retail theft: T.J. Maxx employees reported on Tuesday, Jan. 17 that video surveillance showed two males entering the store and removing bags filled with sneakers without paying
