RADNOR, PA—Radnor Township police officers ditched their razors and shaving cream to embrace their facial hair during "No-Shave November" to honor cancer patients who often lose their hair as a result of medical treatments.

The officers raised $1,000 for cancer research.

No-Shave November, a non-profit, began in Chicago in 2009 when children decided to raise money for cancer after their father died of cancer. The nonprofit grew nationwide and raised over $10 million.
Township Manager Bill White judged the contest to determine who grew the best beard and /or mustache.
