Radnor Ward Redistricting Could Change Nov 5 Polling Locations

The county will hold a hearing on the redistricting plan for Radnor Township next week in Media.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Radnor Township's voting districts could see a change up ahead of the Nov. 5 general election.

Township officials said Tuesday that that Delaware County Board of Elections has filed a petition with the Court of Common Pleas for the implementation of the Radnor Township redistricting map.

Thus, a redistricting hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 in Courtroom 8 at 201 W. Front St. in Media before Judge John J. Whelan.

According to officials, the plan incorporates the redistricting approved by Radnor Township in 2023.

However, the Board of Elections aims to combine the proposed new Ward 3 Precinct 3 with the proposed new Ward 2 Precinct 2.

All voters in Radnor Township will receive two county mailings ahead of the fall election, whether the voter’s precinct and polling place has remained the same or changed, in addition to bulletins through the township and other civic organizations.
