Radnor's Fall Harvest & Great Pumpkin Patch: What You Need To Know
Radnor Township families must pre-register to get a free large pumpkin at the event. Small and medium pumpkins do not require registration.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Radnor Township is getting ready for its annual Fall Harvest & Great Pumpkin Patch event.
This year's event will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5 in The Willows Park.
The event is for Radnor Township families, is free to enter, and features free and nominally priced activities, food, and refreshments.

Radnor Township families are encouraged to register to get their large pumpkins at the event online here. Only one large pumpkin per family is permitted.
Pumpkin pickup is between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the back of the park. Any pumpkins that are not claimed by 3 p.m. will be released on a first-come, first-serve basis. Be sure to bring a copy of your pumpkin registration receipt with you to the event. IDs may be checked to ensure the person picking up the large pumpkin is pre-registered and a Radnor Township Resident.

Those unable to walk long distances and/or carry large pumpkins from the patch to vehicles should contact the Radnor Township Parks and Recreation Department to make alternate plans at 610-688-5600 or email recreation@radnor.org.
Small and medium pumpkins do not require advance registration, but they are available only while supplies last. These pumpkins are limited to one per person.
Food and non-food vendors interested in participating can get applications online here. Completed applications should be returned with payment to Radnor Township Recreation, 301 Iven Ave. Wayne, PA 19087.
Volunteers are also needed to help with:
- Leadership and monitoring in the pumpkin patch
- Leadership at activity stations, food and refreshments areas
- Table set up and break down
- Table management and distribution of materials
- Placement of signage and event equipment
- Event greeter - sponsor, vendor, community members
- Distribution of materials and programs around the event
- Distribution of treats and goodies
- Event management and security at footprint borders
- Assistance with parking/ingress and egress to event
- Other select positions as needed

Organizers anticipate some disruptions in the area due to the event.
The park will be closed to the public on the event day starting at 6 a.m. Oct. 5 to prepare for the event.
All public parking will be at the Willows entrance, but is subject to change based on conditions at the park.
Radnor Police will be helping with event parking.
When arriving to the park, enter through the Willows entrance. Festival goers will then be directed to the event parking areas located inside the entrance. Vistiors are urged to follow signage to the picnic grove upon parking.
If handicap parking is needed, please enter the event through the Willows exit and ask for assistance.
Heavy traffic is expected in and around the area on the day of the event, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Drivers should allow for extra time to get to the park for the event.

- The Great Pumpkin Presenting Sponsor — $8,000
- Harvest Sponsor — $3,000
- Hay Bale Sponsor — $500
- Treat Product/Prize Sponsor — $250 (or equivalent item cost - includes monetary and/or in-kind products/prizes/services)
