Santoleri "draws inspiration for his work from the surface and his surroundings, and often incorporates objects that he collects, images from dreams, flowers blooming and decaying in his backyard, and more," according to the Manayunk Development Corporation.

He has done many projects with Mural Arts Philadelphia and has a few pieces in Manayunk, including "Concrete Tree" and "Fountain Street Steps" located further west on the Manayunk towpath.
