SCHOOL WEATHER ALERT: How the Storm Will Impact RTSD

Up to a foot of snow is expected in the region over the next few days.

With a snow storm poised to dump snow on the region, Radnor Township School District officials have decided to dismiss school early Monday, Jan. 26, the district announced Monday morning.

All high school students will be dismissed at noon, the district said; middle school students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Parents can begin picking up their elementary students 1 p.m., and buses will arrive at 1:15 p.m.

“We are closely monitoring the weather forecast for tomorrow, January 27, and will provide an update on our website and/or through our alert system in the early evening tonight regarding the status of school and other scheduled events,” Superintendent Mike Kelly said. “We are also reviewing our options for the monthly School Board Business Meeting scheduled tomorrow night in the event it cannot be held at that time.”

The district has cancelled all after-school and evening activities for Monday.
