St. Davids' Fire Early Saturday Morning; Water Freezes on Roads

Nine area fire companies fought a two-alarm fire early Sunday morning in the St. Davids section of Radnor Township.

Radnor, Berwyn, Paoli, Malvern, Bryn Mawr, King of Prussia, Newtown Square, Gladwyne, and Rocky Run fire companies fought the fire in the 200 block St. Davids Court.

Firefighters reported heavy smoke showing from a two-story single family home. The fire started on the first floor. Everyone in the house safely escaped.

Icy conditions made clean-up a mess, according to Radnor Fire Department. Residents of the street awoke to find ice and a lot of salt on the streets in the neighborhood.

The Radnor Township Fire Marshal is investigating the fire.
