Main Line Steakhouse Among Region's Best: Philly Magazine
If you're looking for an old-school steakhouse in the Philadelphia region, this Radnor restaurant is one of the best, Philly Mag says.
RADNOR, PA — A steakhouse dinner is quite the nice treat. A good cut of meat cooked to your liking with a cocktail and some sides makes for a filling, nostalgic experiences for many hungry diners.
And luckily, one of the region's best steakhouses is right here in Radnor.
That's according to Jason Sheehan, Maddy Sweitzer-Lamme, and Christine Coppa, who came up with a list of the area's best steakhouses for Philadelphia Magazine.

"There’s still something admirable about a great steakhouse, something comforting in its white-tablecloth predictability, luxe appointments, and dedication to a single style," they wrote. "There is something reassuring about a menu that you can read with your eyes closed. And let’s be honest: There are times when you’ve got a hunger that nothing but a thick-cut steak, perfectly cooked, will satisfy."
And the Radnor spot they highlighted was Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse.

Here's what they said about the steakhouse located at 555 Lancaster Ave. in Radnor:
Part of a massive chain with locations all over the country, Fleming’s still manages to be unique in two ways. First, it isn’t right in the middle of Center City. And second, it bridges a gap between the classic, intimidating, monolithic, high-dollar steakhouse and our more modern restaurant moment. It’s a less serious place with an interesting spread of appetizers (ahi tuna poke stack, burrata with prosciutto) and sides like apricot and thyme green beans, with a more casual vibe in the dining room. But the steaks are still excellent, which is why Fleming’s makes this list.
The trio of food writers listed Fleming's under "Old-School Steakhouses."
