USPS Tredyffrin Center to Close?

The facility in Devon could be one of many shut down in a cost-cutting move.

The U.S. Postal Service is trying to find $20 billion in savings by 2015 to avert a financial crisis.

Monday the wholly owned government agency announced plans to stop trying to deliver first class mail in one day and instead aim for two to three day delivery targets for first class mail.

The post office is also looking at shutting down more than 250 postal facility, including some in Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
