Tina DeAngelis is collecting food, clothing, games, and more for Philly's homeless population while teaching and running a household.
VILLANOVA, PA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

DeAngelis is a wife, a mother of three grown children, and an educator who is teaching online all while collecting food, clothes, and more to support Philadelphia's homeless population.

She and her daughter Jessie have been collecting food (and making dishes at home), clothing, games, puzzles and all essentials and delivering them to 2 "safe havens" for the homeless in Philadelphia.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She puts so much time and effort into collecting and distributing to the homeless as well as online teaching at Jefferson University while running her household with 3 grown children and her husband at home.

She's EXTREMELY thoughtful of everyone and everything!
