Wayne Art Center Hosting Opening Reception For 3 Exhibits Sunday

The Expressions of Radnor exhibit at Wayne Art Center will be joined by two other exhibits. Sunday's reception will celebrate all three.

WAYNE, PA — The Expressions of Radnor exhibit is now showcasing Radnor Township residents' talent through various mediums at the Wayne Art Center. And this weekend, there will be a reception for the exhibit that is open to the public.

The reception will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Wayne Art Center.

Awards will be awards and gallery talks celebrating not only Expressions of Radnor, but also The Pursuit of Painting through Mark Making: Stefanie Lieberman & Students and Inspired from Life: Paintings by Dori Spector.

Now in its 24th year, Expressions of Radnor showcases the talent of Radnor Township residents through a variety of mediums, including painting, photography, fiber, sculpture, ceramics, stained-glass and mixed media works.

This year’s exhibition will be juried by Joseph Sweeney, a landscape painter and frequent Wayne Art Center teacher.

He will present over $500 in awards that have been generously sponsored by local Wayne businesses.

The Pursuit of Painting through Mark Making: Stefanie Lieberman & Students will be on view in the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Gallery and Inspired from Life: Paintings by Dori Spector will be on display in the Vidinghoff Lobby Gallery.

Wayne Art Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching our community through the
arts.

Since its founding in 1931, Wayne Art Center has established itself as a vital cultural
resource, offering arts education, exhibitions, outreach programs and special events.

Wayne Art Center is located at 413 Maplewood Ave. in Wayne.

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
