Encompassing the 30-mile area from Pottstown to Center City Philadelphia and inspired by the historical architecture and lush landscapes found throughout our region, some of this year’s paintings featured Chanticleer, area establishments, urban vistas, and local treasures including Valley Forge and the Willows.

"We are proud to have had the special opportunity once again to bring 32 nationally recognized
plein air artists to our community to celebrate Wayne Art Center’s 17th Annual Plein Air Festival," Campbell said "This eagerly anticipated and much cherished event never fails to amaze us! Despite some rainy May weather, these talented and resourceful artists, representing 18 states, painted nearly 300 works that capture the lush landscapes, charming nearby towns, historical architecture, and
beautiful pastoral farms that showcase the beauty of our area."

Light refreshments and beverages will be served at the reception.
