Yangming May Reopen As Soon As This Week

Embattled Main Line restaurant Yangming, which was shut down earlier this month when roaches were found on the premises, has been issued three citations by Radnor Township officials- for “keeping food in unsanitary conditions, failure to control insects and rodents, and storing food or food containers below sanitary lines”- the Inquirer reported over the weekend, citing local police. 

With renovations underway at the restaurant, Yangming could reopen as soon as this week, police superintendent William Colarulo told the paper. Less than two weeks earlier, Colarulo had been quoted as saying that “there is no way they are even close to reopening.”

A customer found a roach in food earlier this month and after inspections found more problems the highly regarded restaurant was shut down. Yangming apologized on its Facebook page last week, vowing to ““renovate, refurbish, renew and refresh.”
