• December 18, 2025: Days Gone By (republicanherald.com) — Ringtown residents might enjoy looking back 50 years to when the borough welcomed Dr. Mohammed Safdar Ali as a new local physician on West Main Street. This “Days Gone By” feature also recalls a 1925 county schoolmen’s meeting, a Korean War casualty report from 1950, and a tragic Ashland house fire in 2000, connecting today’s readers with Schuylkill County’s past.
