$1,400 in Tastykakes Stolen, Police Say

Theft: On March 11, at approximately 8:52 p.m., police received a report of a retail theft at the Dollar Tree located at 7106 Ridge Ave. According to police, the assistant manager observed a woman placing items from the store into her cart, but also placing items into her jacket.  The woman then fled the store, police say, without paying for the items.  The woman was arrested as she fled, and the merchandise was recovered.

Theft: On March 11, at approximately 8:50 a.m., police received a report of a theft in the 400 block of Domino Lane.  According to police, a private vendor had parked behind SuperFresh to make a delivery of Tastykakes. While the vendor was inside the store, police say that someone entered the vehicle and stole $1,474 worth of Tastykakes
