$14,000 Worth of Equipment Stolen, Police Say

An air conditioning unit is also stolen from a home in another police report.

Theft: On March 14, at approximately 7 a.m., police received a report of a theft in the 8500 block of Old Line Road.  According to police, the rear side-window of a vehicle had been broken and two iPods removed from the vehicle.

Theft: On March 14, at approximately 4 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 600 block of Summit Ave.  According to police, a central air conditioning until was stolen from the property.

Burglary: On March 16, at approximately 5:30 a.m., police received a report of a theft in the 4100 block of Cresson Street.  According to police a vehicle was taken from the warehouse of Air Tight Heating and Cooling.  Police say that the burglar entered through a locked gate and the vehicle keys were taken from a filing cabinet.  The stolen vehicle contained a number of tools and construction equipment, and police value the stolen items at more than $14,000.
