2025 Roxtoberfest: What You Need To Know
Roxborough will once again be transformed into a German-inspired fall festival Saturday with the 13th Annual Roxtoberfest. See details here.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Saturday marks the 13th Annual Roxtoberfest, and Ridge Avenue will be transformed into a German-inspired fall festival with music, beer, food, vendors, a car show, costume contests, and much more.
Roxtoberfest will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on Ridge Avenue between Lyceum and Leverington avenues.
Two parking lots are available at 465 Leverington Ave. and the other at 514 Dupont St, however organizers encourage festival goers to use public transportation or bicycles to get to the event.

Beer Stein Competition

Returning for its 13th year and sponsored by DAS Advertising, the Beer Stein Competition is back. Head to the MGMT Residential Main Stage on Lyceum to see a test participants' strength and endurance. Prizes will be awarded. Register at the MGMT stage at Ridge & Lyceum
Historical Cemetery Tours
Local Historian Don Simon will conduct tours during Roxtoberfest at the historical Leverington Cemetery at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Kids Zone
Roxtoberfest Kid Zone this year will in the Roxborough Pocket Park this year. Kids can enjoy gigantic bubbles, carnival games, a three-hole mini golf, and a story time with Flyleaf the Book Fairy from noon to 5 p.m.
Mini Car Show
The Ridge Runners Car Club will host a mini car show on DuPont Street.
Pet Costume Contest
Dress your furry friend up and pose for the cameras. Get ready for a day of furry fun and fabulous costumes at the Roxtoberfest Pet Costume Contest. To join in on the excitement, register at the RDC table, located at 6120 Ridge Ave. Upon registration, participants receive a unique number that will help identify your pet during the contest. The contest will take place at 3 p.m. at the Community Stage.
Scarecrow Walk & Scarecrow Build
This year, Friends of Gorgas Park are bringing back their scarecrow making event. The RDC and Friends of Gorgas Park are partnering to connect the two events with sidewalk activations, including a scarecrow walk with voting for best scarecrow.

New Ridge returns with their Oktoberfest brew, Fiestbier, and all other brews including their pumpkin beer Horror Business at their tap room next to the pocket park and at three locations throughout the festival.
New Ridge Brewing and Top Dog Cocktails are collaborating for a one-stop shop for craft beers and , ready-to-drink cocktails at the MGMT Main Stage on Lyceum Avenue.
The Leverington Stage will host a tapping of New Ridge's Fiestbier at 12:30 p.m.

New Additions
Art on the Ridge x El Mercado
El Mercado Cultural is an initiative organized by Fleisher Art Memorial to encourage the Latinx community’s participation in commerce and the arts through cultural markets in the Philadelphia region. The focus is to promote multiculturalism by celebrating the heritage and the talent of Latin Americans in the city. Fourteen artisans will join for Roxtoberfest this year.
Kids Root beer Stein Competition
Kids can grab a root beer stein to see how long they can hold it up. Prizes will be awarded to the top competitors. Root beer is provided by Barry’s Steaks & Hoagies. Register at the MGMT stage at Ridge and Lyceum avenues.
Roxyunk Shuttle
Organizers bridging the gap between Roxborough and Manayunk with the RoxYunk Shuttle. Ride for no charge between the Ridge Avenue and Main Street from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Roxtoberfest started in 2013 as a small neighborhood street festival by the Roxborough Development Corporation with help from community partners, businesses and sponsors. It has grown each year to become one of the most well-known fall festivals in the region.
