$3,000 Diamond Ring Stolen, Police Say

A burglar stole a diamond ring valued at $3,000 from a home in the 800 block of Cathedral Rd. on April 24. 

The complainant told police that someone broke a glass windowpane in the rear kitchen door, reached through the broken pane and unlocked the door.

The diamond ring was stolen from a jewelry box in a second floor bedroom, police said, but nothing else was reported missing.
