PHILADELPHIA — Congressman Dwight Evans has been projected as the winner in Pennsylvania's 3rd Congressional District race, according to NBC and other outlets.

It's after 8 p.m. and the polls are closed in the general election.

Evans (D) faced Socialist Workers Party candidate Christopher Hoeppner to keep his seat representing nearly all of Philadelphia.
