Body Found In Schuylkill River After Montco Murder-Suicide
Tonya Dupree, 57, took her own life after fatally shooting her husband Robert Dupree Sr., 62, in King of Prussia Saturday, authorities said.
EAST FALLS, PHILADELPHIA — The body found in the Schuylkill River near East Falls over the weekend is connected to a murder-suicide in King of Prussia, the Montgomery County District Attorney's office said.
Tonya Dupree, 57, of King of Prussia, drove to the FedEx Warehouse in Upper Dublin where her son worked on Saturday morning at around 9:30 a.m., according to police.
When her son came outside to meet her, she pulled out a gun and pointed it at his head, but he was able to wrestle it away from her, officials said.

At some point shortly before or after, Dupree shot and killed her husband, Robert Dupree Sr., 62., inside their King of Prussia home, the DA's office said. Robert Dupree was found dead at around 10:15 a.m. by Upper Merion police, after their son called police to report what had happened.
Tonya Dupree was found dead floating in the river near East Falls just over an hour later, at around 11:30 a.m.
