Cell Phone Stolen from Unlocked Truck, Police Say

Theft: On April 2, at approximately 4:39 p.m., police received a report of a theft at the Kohl’s located at 8500 Henry Ave.  According to police, store security observed a customer taking various items from the store and attempting to leave without paying for the merchandise.  The customer was detained by security and arrested.  Police value the attempted stolen items at $175.

Theft: On April 4, at approximately 1 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 600 block of Gorgas Lane.  According to police, someone entered a man’s unlocked truck between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. and stole his cell phone.
