Get A Free Ride Home From NRG Station Saturday After Games

SEPTA and Dunkin' are offering free rides from NRG Station on the Broad Street line Saturday, Dec. 22 for the Flyers and Sixers games.

PHILADELPHIA – Heading down toward the stadiums Saturday? If so, you can get a free ride home thanks to a SEPTA-Dunk' deal.

SEPTA will offer free rides home from NRG Station on the Broad Street Line all day on Saturday, Dec. 22. The move is aimed at offering a safe and convenient post-game travel option for fans attending the Flyer-Blue Jackets game and the Sixers-Raptors game.

SEPTA will supplement regularly scheduled service on the Broad Street Line for the Flyers versus Blue Jackets 1 p.m. face off with two express trains leaving Fern Rock Station at 11:58 a.m. and 12:08 p.m.

For the Sixers versus Raptors game starting at 7:30 p.m. there will be three local trains leaving at 5:58 p.m.; 6:08 p.m.; and 6:18 p.m.

Fans will also find Local and Express trains waiting for them at NRG Station after the game.

Regular fares will apply for all Broad Street Line travel to the games and for trips to and from other stations.

The free-ride-home program is powered by Dunkin’s new espresso line, offering a new choice for authentic, handcrafted espresso drinks.

Along with offering free rides, the Dunkin’ Joy Squad will be distributing $10,000 worth of $5 Dunkin’ gift cards to help keep people energized with Dunkin’s holiday hot and iced coffees.

There is a free transfer to the Broad Street Line from the Market-Frankford Line and City Trolley routes at 15thStreet/City Hall, and it is just a short walk from Regional Rail stations in Center City.

The Broad Street Line also connects to bus routes that provide service throughout the city and region, and it is easily accessible from the PATCO High Speed Line for riders from South Jersey.
