Golfing, Farmers Market and Porch Hop This Weekend in Roxborough

Here's what's going on this weekend in Roxborough and Manayunk.

Farmers Market: Every Friday there's a Farmers Market in Gorgas Park organized by the Roxborough Development Corporation.  The market runs from 2-6 p.m., and, as an added bonus, vendors accept debit and credit cards.  

Porch Hop: Residents of Central Roxborough are invited to the first ever Porch Hop this Saturday from 4-7 rain or shine. Join your neighbors for snacks, drinks, and good conversation. It is a great way to network and build community. Feel free to BYO to your first porch to keep the party hopping.

Cook Wissahickon Golf Outing: Please join us for our first annual Cook-Wissahickon Golf Outing to support academic programs for our school. As you are aware, our budget cuts have been devastating, leaving us with a loss of staff and very little money to run the school this year. As neighbors, we are asking for your support as a "hole sponsor" at any level you feel is best. If you golf, it is a better deal to sponsor a hole at the "bronze," "silver," or "gold level." We will advertise your sponsorship at a hole with a sign carrying your business logo, and print your business information in our program.
