Holiday Fun Begins Nov 20 In Manayunk

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — Manayunk is getting into the holiday spirit next week when it hosts its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and debuts Manayunk Gets Lit.

The tree lighting ceremony and associated activities will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in Canal View Park.

Guests will find live performances, holiday music, special guests, glow giveaways, crafts and photo ops with Santa at the tree lighting event.

Attendees can write letters to Santa, decorate ornaments, sip hot cocoa, visit with North Pole Elves, and visit Santa for a meet and greet in front of the tree.

Santa will also lead an Eagles cheer.

The night will also mark the official launch of the Annual Manayunk Gets Lit Decorating Competition between more than 40 businesses in the district. A list of participating businesses is below.
