I-76 Lane Closing Overnight In Philadelphia Next Week: PennDOT

A lane will close overnight Monday through Friday next week on I-76 east between the Belmont Avenue and Montgomery Drive interchanges.

PHILADELPHIA — PennDOT said a lane will be closing overnight on Interstate 76 east in Philadelphia for work on a major resurfacing project in the region.

According to PennDOT, a lane will close Monday through Friday next week on I-76 east between the Belmont Avenue and Montgomery Drive interchanges.

The closure will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.

This work is part of a $36.8 million project to resurface and repair nearly five miles of the interstate, the associated on-and-off ramps, and 23 bridges in Philadelphia.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur.
